To get to Cape Point from Sea Point, we will drive along the scenic coastal road, passing through Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak and Noordhoek.

Once you reach Cape Point, you can hike up to the old lighthouse, which offers panoramic views of the ocean and the peninsula. For those not feeling so adventurous take the Flying Dutchman Funicular, a cable car that takes you to the upper station near the lighthouse. From there, you can walk along the cliff paths and see the famous Cape of Good Hope sign.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can also hike down to the lower station and visit the Cape Point Ostrich Farm, where you can see and feed these large birds. You can also visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve, where you can spot various wildlife such as baboons, antelopes, zebras and ostriches.
